This unique edge was created when the old growth Redwood log entered the ocean and washed ashore many years ago, thereby pounding and rounding the ends. If you look carefully, you'll even find a bit of beach sand wedged deep into the knots.

I chose to bookmatch this specimen to showcase the brilliant shimmer within the grain.

 

This piece is ideal for an office or large home entry table, an oversized coffee table, or hang it on the wall as a fascinating piece of nature-created art. Just add legs!
